As of May 1, the Johnstown Flood Museum and Heritage Discovery Center/Johnstown Children’s Museum are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10:00 am-5:00 pm, Sunday noon-5:00 pm; and closed Tuesday. We will update this alert ribbon (and, in the instance of longer closures, the Heritage Johnstown Facebook Page) if either or both museums are closed due to severe weather (which can include heat).

Nutroll contest to be part of Slavic Fest!

The Johnstown Slavic Festival is coming up on September 23, and as part of that event we’re excited to announce the Baba’s Famous Nutroll contest! If you think you or your organization have a nutroll recipe that is the most scrumptious, the nuttiest, the most melt-in-your-mouth delectable dessert ever—then we want to hear from you. Registration deadline is Sept. 1, so hurry!
