Johnstown Slavic Festival postponed until 2021 due to COVID-19

Posted: August 12, 2020 12:33 pm

The Johnstown Slavic Festival Committee and JAHA are saddened to announce the postponement of the 2020 Slavic Festival due to COVID-19 restrictions. The committee explored every option and avenue and were optimistic that we would be able to host the festival this year, but current restrictions limit the number of people at an event to 250 (which includes performers, vendors, and staff as well as attendees). So we are unable to present the festival in the format that everyone loves — and we want to keep our friends, families, festivalgoers, volunteers, vendors and entertainers healthy and safe.

We are already planning for next year’s festival, which is set for Friday, Sept. 17-18, 2021!

The committee is planning something new and exciting in the month of May 2021, so stay tuned for those details!

We are grateful for your continued understanding and support.
