The Johnstown Flood Museum and Heritage Discovery Center/Johnstown Children’s Museum are currently operating on a winter schedule: open Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10:00 am-5:00 pm, Sunday noon-5:00 pm; and closed Tuesday and Wednesday. We will update this alert ribbon (and, in the instance of longer closures, the Heritage Johnstown Facebook Page) if either or both museums are closed due to severe weather.

Beginning May 1, we will resume visitor season operating hours of open all days except Tuesday.

JAHA is delighted to announce that the Johnstown Flood Museum and Heritage Discovery Center/Johnstown Children’s Museum will soon be open seven days a week for the visitor season!

Beginning on May 1, opening hours for the Johnstown Flood Museum and Heritage Discovery Center/Johnstown Children’s Museum will be as follows:

  • Monday-Saturday: 10 am-5 pm
  • Sunday: noon-5 pm

Tours for the Wagner-Ritter House & Garden and the Center for Metal Arts must be booked online, and hours will not change.
