Greensky Bluegrass, The Disco Biscuits to headline AmeriServ Flood City Music Festival, July 24-25

Greensky Bluegrass, The Disco Biscuits to headline AmeriServ Flood City Music Festival, July 24-25

Posted: February 11, 2026 2:41 pm

The AmeriServ Flood City Music Festival today announced its strongest lineup to date for the July 24-25 festival, with headliners Greensky Bluegrass featuring Holly Bowling (pictured) and The Disco Biscuits.

“After four consecutive years of record attendance, this lineup raises the bar again. We are competing for audiences with some of the biggest jam-oriented festivals on the east coast,” said Bryan Hummel, festival co-chair. “This is an accomplishment, both for Heritage Johnstown as well as for the city in general. After a near sell-out in 2025, we anticipate reaching our full capacity for the first time in festival history in 2026.”

More about the festival

The two-day, three-stage festival is held at Peoples Natural Gas Park in Johnstown, PA, a venue that was developed by the festival’s producer, Heritage Johnstown.

AmeriServ Bank is the festival’s title sponsor for a record 32nd year.

“If there is one thing festival goers can count on, it is that there will be a host of terrific musicians taking the stage over festival weekend. We are thrilled that our partnership with Heritage Johnstown and the festival committee continues to make it possible for folks from the area and beyond to enjoy this caliber of musical entertainment,” said Jeff Stopko, AmeriServ Bank president and CEO. “It is events like this that truly highlight all that our region has to offer and makes it a true destination for those who appreciate the beauty of the Laurel Highlands.”

“One thing that really distinguishes the 2026 lineup is the number of women-fronted acts,” noted Ron Carnevali, festival co-chair. “Plus, we have two women artists at large on both Friday and Saturday, and Queen-Poetri Dozier returns as our visual artist at large.”

As in 2025, the festival is offering a free “Night Zero” pre-festival concert on the Thursday before the event begins (July 23).

Two-day early bird passes are now $99 for general admission or $150 for VIP. A 2-day hotel package that includes two VIP passes, a hotel room for Friday and Saturday, and 2 festival t-shirts in an exclusive color is $715. Festival camping is being offered in partnership with Coal Tubin’, for $70 per person for 2 nights of primitive camping (including shuttles and unlimited Coal Tubin’). A three-night camping package that includes Thursday night is available for $100, for those who want to come in early for “Night Zero.”

“Camping is an increasingly popular option – we more than doubled the number of campers last year,” Hummel noted. “We are confident this lineup is going to attract many more in 2026.”

Tickets are being sold through the Flicket platform, and may be bought online at www.floodcitymusic.com. Hard tickets will go on sale at the Heritage Discovery Center soon. Heritage Johnstown members are entitled to a free upgrade from general admission to VIP passes – to take advantage of this benefit, passes must be purchased in person (limit 4 per family membership; limit 2 for individual or dual memberships).

More about the artists:

Greensky Bluegrass feat. Holly Bowling: Since their 2000 formation in Kalamazoo, MI, Greensky Bluegrass have unassumingly progressed into a phenomenon on their own terms with the undying support of a devout audience. Greensky Bluegrass last graced our mainstage in 2012, and we’re thrilled to welcome them back to headline the AmeriServ Flood City Music Festival 2026 with a special two-set performance featuring Holly Bowling on keys.

The Disco Biscuits: The Disco Biscuits headline Friday night at the AmeriServ Flood City Music Festival with a 2-set performance! The Philadelphia-based group, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, remain the pioneers of “Trance-Fusion” – bridging the gap between electronic dance music and jam rock – while consistently looking for new sonic boundaries to break.

Pigeons Playing Ping Pong: If you ever wondered what “seizing the moment” sounds like personified, look no further than Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, the four-piece musical powerhouse known for their head-turning high-energy psychedelic funk shows. Infectious energy is an understatement. The Maryland quartet — “Scrambled Greg” Ormont [vocals, guitar], Jeremy Schon [guitar, vocals], Ben Carrey [bass, vocals], and Alex “Gator” Petropulos [drums, vocals]—not only squeezes the juice out of every second, but they harness life’s energy within their hypnotic hybrid of funk, rock and psychedelic groove.

Big Something: After over a decade of touring together and seven full-length studio albums, Big Something is established as a grassroots phenomenon in the live music community, and we’re thrilled to present them on our Saturday mainstage this year.

Karina Rykman plays bass, sings, jumps around and laughs a lot. Straddling the worlds of jam rock and indie pop drenched in psychedelia, her effervescent presence will once again grace the AmeriServ Flood City Music Festival with her band, and in sit-ins with other artists as one of our Friday artists at large.

Super Sonic Shorties: Super Sonic Shorties is a supergroup of like-minded, incredible musicians who happen to be women—led by the fearless Nikki Glaspie! In addition to Nikki, the confirmed lineup for Flood City includes Kanika Moore, Jennifer Hartswick, Natalie Cressman, Shira Elias, Amy Bellamy, Tonya Sweets, Angie Swan, and Jessica Lurie. Their resumes are far too extensive to summarize here but trust us – they are unbelievable.

Holly Bowling: Pianist Holly Bowling defies convention, breaks ceilings, and eludes simplistic labels, while bringing virtuosic playing, emotional immersion, and a thirst for invention to everything she does. She played for us back in 2019 with Ghost Light, and we’re thrilled to welcome her back for a solo set as she explores piano interpretations of the music of Phish and The Grateful Dead, among others

Magoo: Magoo is a bluegrass quartet from Denver that blends intricate arrangements, tight three-part harmonies, and extended improvisations to bring new life to the genre. These rising stars, whose debut album came out February 2025, have already solidified their reputation as one of the most exciting new acts in the progressive bluegrass scene.

Jennifer Hartswick Band: Trumpeter and vocalist Jennifer Hartswick is one of the most exciting performers in music today. She exudes confidence and joy and brings her own refreshing spirit to the stage every time she performs. Jennifer’s music is honest, and soulful and comes with a maturity far beyond her years. In addition to playing her own set, Jennifer will, as in 2025, serve as an artist at large on Saturday!

Natalie Cressman: Possessing a voice as cool and crystalline as an Alpine stream, Natalie Cressman draws inspiration from a vast array of musical currents. This prodigiously talented trombonist has spent the last 14 years touring as a horn player and vocalist with Phish’s Trey Anastasio, and she’ll be an artist at large on BOTH days of our festival.

Sneezy: Born out of the vibrant Chicago music scene, Sneezy is a funk-soul jam band that knows no boundaries. Their live shows are immersive, soulful celebrations where audiences become collaborators and music becomes shared catharsis, and they’ll close the AmeriServ Flood City Music Festival 2026 with a late-night set.

The Nth Power: The Nth Power aligned in New Orleans during Jazz Fest some years ago and has been delivering a transcendent blend of soul, funk, rock, and R&B ever since! Led by drummer Nikki Glaspie (who appeared with us as part of Dumpstaphunk in 2014), this seasoned trio will smoke the first pavilion set at this year’s festival.

Solar Circuit: Solar Circuit is a jamtronic electropop quartet blending female-led trance vocals, live improvisation, and nostalgic eurotrance energy into a high-energy, dance-driven live experience. They’ll bring their relentless “controlled chaos” to our Friday late-night set.

FlowerChild (Thursday): Johnstown’s own FlowerChild will present a 120-minute Dead set at “Night Zero”! FlowerChild celebrated their 25th anniversary in 2024 and continues to bring the fire and good times to all who cross their path.

Scott Tournet: Scott started his career as a founder, main songwriter, and lead guitarist with Grace Potter & the Nocturnals. with whom he played the AmeriServ Flood City Music Festival back in 2009. Now based in Baltimore, he is also a veteran of the world music ensemble Elektric Voodoo, and recently released a singer-songwriter album called Home. We welcome him back to our festival!

Jimmy Adler Band: We’re delighted to welcome a regular back to the festival — Jimmy Adler Band! In fact, you usually see Jimmy at our festival whether he’s playing or not. This Pittsburgh-based guitarist and singer swings the blues with an unmistakable style, tone and feel, blending gritty soulfulness with Latin rhythms and jazz sophistication.

Farmer Jason (Thursday): Farmer Jason is the alter-ego of Jason Ringenberg, the frontman of the legendary cowpunk act Jason & the Scorchers and Americana Music Association Lifetime Achievement Award winner. Jason played our predecessor festival with both acts back in 2008, and we are thrilled to welcome him back.

Habatat: Established in 2012, Habatat is an all original funk/rock/fusion quartet from Westmoreland County that combines high-powered vocals with ripping guitar and trumpet lines to create a rich sonic tapestry to delight audiences.

Nash.v.ill: Based in Pittsburgh, NASH.V.ILL has earned a reputation for explosive performances, dynamic musicianship, and unmatched onstage energy. The band, which recently released their debut EP, It Takes A Village: Mixtape Vol. 1, will open Day 2 of our festival with hip-hop grooves blended with rock, funk, blues, and soul.

Coltt Winter Lepley: A native of Bedford, Coltt Winter Lepley is an Appalachian folksinger/songwriter who plays his originals across the country, from Nashville’s Americanafest to Austin’s South By Southwest (SXSW). Coltt, a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown (UPJ) who went on for an MFA in creative writing, is a published poet who’s been called “Bedford’s Poet Laureate.”

Neon Belly (Thursday): Neon Belly is a funky, experimental, improvisational rock group from Johnstown that keeps it groovy and progressive all at once, always pushing it forward.

Bjorn Jacobsen with Robin Chambers: This acoustic power duo slings original hot delta gypsygrass and dark folk rhapsodies. Bjorn, who now calls Johnstown home, plays guitar and sings, and is accompanied by Robin Chambers, known for her violin work with a variety of regional groups.

Visual artist – Queen-Poetri Dozier: Voted Johnstown’s Favorite Visual Artist 2025 in Johnstown Magazine, Queen-Poetri of Queen POEductions was our featured artist at the festival last year, and we’re delighted to welcome her back. She’ll paint during the mainstage sets on Friday and Saturday.
