Fall/winter hours begin 9/15: closed Tues-Wed, open all other days

As of September 15 the Johnstown Flood Museum and Heritage Discovery Center/Johnstown Children’s Museum are moving to fall/winter hours: open Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10:00 am-5:00 pm, Sunday noon-5:00 pm; and closed Tuesday-Wednesday.

We will update this alert ribbon (and, in the instance of longer closures, the Heritage Johnstown Facebook Page) if either or both museums are closed due to severe weather (which can include heat).

Join us at the Heritage Discovery Center/Johnstown Children’s Museum for the Lee Initiatives Community Day! This free admission event will include special activities in the Johnstown Children’s Museum. We’ll continue our celebration renaming the Inclimber Room for Lee Initiatives, which has supported the museum with a donation to improve exhibits! Community partners will also be part of the day.
