As of September 15 the Johnstown Flood Museum and Heritage Discovery Center/Johnstown Children’s Museum are moving to fall/winter hours: open Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10:00 am-5:00 pm, Sunday noon-5:00 pm; and closed Tuesday-Wednesday.

We will update this alert ribbon (and, in the instance of longer closures, the Heritage Johnstown Facebook Page) if either or both museums are closed due to severe weather (which can include heat).

Last Fridays resume in our authentic Ethnic Social Club, located on the fourth floor of the Heritage Discovery Center! Tonight Johnstown’s own Stone Bridge Blues Band will entertain, with guest bartenders Barry and Joyce Gallagher. Doors at 5:00, with music starting at 5:30. No cover — all are welcome!
