Presented by Celebration Johnstown, Discover Downtown Partnership (DDJP), and Heritage Johnstown, inside the Community Foundation Oilhouse (with lots of propane heat)! Come rock around the Christmas tree as we welcome 2026 with a free, all-ages celebration.
Island Cuisine will be vending food. Schedule is as follows:
5:00-6:00 pm: Activities for families and children
Crafts and games will be facilitated by the Cambria County Library. Moonbeam the clown will entertain with balloons, and face painting will also be available.
5:00 pm: Horse-drawn carriage rides
Horse-drawn carriage rides around Peoples Natural Gas Park will be offered by Misty Haven Carriage Rides of Davidsville. Cost is $5 per passenger. Passengers will board the carriage across the street from Peoples Natural Gas Park, and the ride will go down Iron Street and through the park for close-up viewing of the tree and Christmas village.
6:00 pm: Cash bar opens
Anyone who wishes to purchase alcohol at this all-ages event must show ID.
6:00-7:00 pm: Flow n’At Fire Performance
Fire twirling troupe Flow n’At will perform on the lawn outside the Community Foundation Oilhouse, near the tree. Flow n’At has been performing for around 15 years at a wide variety of festivals, parties, concerts, and other events.
7:00 pm: Live music: Jeff Perigo
Singer-songwriter Jeff Perigo will entertain on acoustic guitar. Perigo has been playing music since 1994 in the Johnstown, Indiana and Somerset areas — including acoustic, electric, classic rock, folk, blues, country rock and jam band.
8:30 pm: Live music: Silver Screen
Hailing from Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Silver Screen blends grunge, rock, and alternative into a sound that’s equal parts melody and raw power. Since 2016, they’ve brought electrifying energy to every stage, sharing it with Blind Melon, Trapt, Buckcherry, Puddle of Mudd, Escape the Fate, and Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. They played the AmeriServ Flood City Music Festival in 2022.
10:00-11:59: DJ Seoulsonic
Having provided the soundtrack for Johnstown’s weekends for over 15 years, DJ Seoulsonic has left an indelible imprint on the city’s music scene. His tour de force sets are a recurring highlight of Johnstown’s downtown crawls. Seoulsonic’s passion for music is on full display every time he’s behind the decks, and he prides himself on playing a wide variety of genres, mixing things up and keeping the crowd wanting more.
Midnight: Countdown to 2026 at the tree, and a brief FIREWORKS show thanks to the Starfire Corporation & the Johnstown Fire Department!
