The Johnstown Flood Museum is a proud participant in the 4th annual Downtown Johnstown Culture Crawl! While other crawls in the downtown are centered around food and drink, the Culture Crawl will highlight downtown businesses and what they have to offer. Started in 2020 with 8 participating venues, DJCC has grown to 23 in 2023 with plans to feature over 30 this year. Every participant will feature a cultural activity free of charge to the public. Examples: live music; tours of museums; art exhibits; vinyl spinning; literary tattoo design contests; poetry slams; brewery tours and wine tasting; visitor participation in art projects, rug weaving; and so much more.
Because DJCC is being held in conjunction with National Banned Books Week, the Cambria County Library will be offering numerous activities as well. All businesses will be open for normal business and many downtown restaurants will be open for food and beverage sales including adult beverages. There will be no outside vendors…this is all brick and mortar doing business on a regular basis in Downtown Johnstown. There is no admission charge and metered parking is free. Mark your calendars and plan to attend this celebration of what Johnstown has to offer.
