The Johnstown Flood Museum and Heritage Discovery Center/Johnstown Children’s Museum are currently operating on a winter schedule: open Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10:00 am-5:00 pm, Sunday noon-5:00 pm; and closed Tuesday and Wednesday. We will update this alert ribbon (and, in the instance of longer closures, the Heritage Johnstown Facebook Page) if either or both museums are closed due to severe weather.

Beginning May 1, we will resume visitor season operating hours of open all days except Tuesday.

Conemaugh Career Corner exhibit premieres at the Johnstown Children’s Museum

Thanks to a $10,000 donation from Conemaugh Health System/Duke LifePoint, the Johnstown Children’s Museum has a new Career Corner exhibit. This interactive play area allows kids to explore different career directions. Dress-up clothes, activity areas, and a special doctor’s office are all part of the fun!
